Meeting to discuss Salisbury Car Parking charges

We attended a meeting that took place in The Pheasant Inn this morning to discuss the decision to remove the one hour parking from the city centre car parks and the detrimental effect it has had on business. Councillor Dick Tonge read out a prepared statement to those in attendance before taking questions on the decisions.
More details of the meeting can be read on the Journal website at Show Some Sense Campaign and in the Salisbury Journal on Thursday.

1940s Revival Ball at Norman Court

Saturday evening we were at Norman Court in West Tytherley for a 1940s Revival Ball. The building had been adorned in all sorts of memorabilia from the era and many of the guests made the effort to dress up in period dress.

BTR - Business Through Referrals Networking Group Visitors' Breakfast

BTR - Business Through Referrals, of which I am a member meet every Thursday at the White Hart Hotel in Salisbury for breakfast at 0645. This morning was one of our regular visitors' days where we invite businesses to send a representative to come and see what we are all about.
As I said in my previous post on BTR I have been a member for just 4 months and have had many referrals, both internally, working for members, and externally, working for clients that the group have recommended me too. Weekly meetings are just part of what we do as a group with many social events being organised by the group, many of which paid for from BTR funds, which helps to build the relationships between the members.
If you would like to come as a guest to the next visitors' day please take a look on the BTR website http://businessthroughreferrals.com/ If after looking through the website you think you would like to come and meet us, and your business type does not already have a representative http://businessthroughreferrals.com/member-list/ give me a call or email me for an introduction; admission is through members' referral only.
We had 11 visitors come this morning and they all had a chance to make some new contacts and pass their business cards around.
Here are a few images from this morning.
