Mothers' Day Family Portrait

I had the great pleasure of photographing a lovely family on Sunday. I had been asked by Sharina to come to the home of her parents to take a special family portrait which was to include her parents and fifteen of family. This was very special for me as Sharina's mother was the retired headteacher of the primary school my children (and indeed myself many, many years ago) attended. The weather was glorious and the family a joy to meet and spend time with; although the younger members of the family were not in a posing mood. Thank you to Sharina for choosing me to undertake such a special task. Here are a few from the shoot.

Silver again

Following the success of last month, the image below has been awarded a Silver grade in the SWPP monthly competition in the category Fine Art.
