"A Day at the Races" Salisbury Library Exhibition

The exhibition finally kicked off on Monday evening when a selection of invited guests enjoyed wine and canapes at a private viewing. The exhibition is now open to the public so if you are in the area please go and have a look and leave a comment in the visitors book.

There are 40 images in the main wall exhibition, 20 of which were used in my presentation to the British Professional Photographers Association for my Licentiate; these images are labelled.

As well as the title pieces from "A Day at the Races" I am also exhibiting some of my wedding and portrait work in the display cabinets which include the 2 dog portraits and the portrait of my son which all won Silver in the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers) monthly image competition.

The exhibition runs until the 28th February 2009 and is open during normal library opening hours, which are, Monday 10am - 7pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am - 7pm, Thursday and Saturday 9am - 5pm.

Silver in SWPP monthly competition

I entered 2 images from commissions I received late last year into the SWPP monthly competition for January and they have both won Silver. The first image is of Mac, who has a terminal illness and whose owner wanted a nice framed image to remember him. The second image is Jack. Jack is owned by a lad whose mum wanted a framed image for his birthday.
