On Sunday I was privilaged to be asked to photograph Maria by her mum. Maria was not keen on having her photo taken but we had a bit of fun during the shoot and got some lovely photos. Here are a few from the shoot.

Natasha and Steve

Yesterday I had a pre-wedding shoot with Natasha and Steve. They chose the location and it was somewhere I had never been before so did not know what to expect. The first thing I saw when we arrived was an old tin barn which I thought would look brilliant as a background.

Steve just loves being photographed and although Natasha was a little nervous at first the camera loved her and together they look like models. I had a great time photographing them and could have kept going all day; I can't wait for their wedding day.

Kate and Iain

Sunday I met up with Kate and Iain on Chilbolton Cow Common for their pre-wedding portrait shoot. We had a wander over the common and I took some pictures of them on the bridge over the river. The weather was lovely and sunny and I had a fun time with this lovely couple. I am really looking forward to the wedding.

John Rose Photography in the Wiltshire Society Magazine

Our very succesful "A Day at the Races" exhibition hit the pages of the Wiltshire Society Magazine this week. The pictures show guests posing for pictures taken by Tom Gregory from the Salisbury Journal and include the Mayor of Salisbury Iris Evans and the Mayoress June Fittall enjoying a glass of wine. A selection of images from the exhibition are now for sale on the website.

All About Weddings

I have just returned from a fabulous three days in the lake district with a lovely group of people on the "All about weddings" course run by the Annabel Williams Contemporary Photographic Training team. I had a really great time and furthered my knowledge of marketing, sales and giving the bride and groom a very special experience.
