Vita Skin Spa, 26 St. Ann Street, Salisbury

Vita Skin Spa had there open evening last evening and we went over to capture a few images of the new facilities.

Vita Skin Spa now has 3 new treatment rooms and a luxurious relaxation room and they would love you to go and see what they've been up to! They are still at 26 St Ann Street but have moved upstairs to give them lots more space and they now have new double treatment rooms so you can enjoy any of their treatments with a friend.

For those of you who never want to go home after a treatment, their relaxation room is the perfect place to sit and relax with a cup of tea and a magazine to prolong your pamper time! It's also the perfect place to get together with friends and enjoy a pamper party.

An amazing testimonial from an amazing nursery school

What an amazing testimonial, thank you ever so much Claire

Testimonial for Photographers – John Rose Photographers From Three Bears Nursery, Bovington, Dorset.

The photographers came in to the nursery to take photographs of our, Babies, Toddlers, and Pre-School aged children.  They worked together as a great team ensuring all staff were aware of what was required, what  to do, and at what pace they were to work with regards to bringing the children in. The children felt safe and confident in John and Mandy’s company. They ensured that the children were comfortable, talking and making them smile and laugh, making it a fun thing to have your photographs taken and not a rather staunch affair.

In the last 10 years of having photographs taken for our nursery we have never had ALL the photographs returned with children all happy and smiling, wonderful prints, parents were very happy also with many comments of how fantastic they were. We at Three Bears are looking forward to their return visit in October.

Entrepreneurs Flying High in Somerset and Wiltshire!
Hannah Jones from FSB Swindon (Photo by John Rose Photography)
This week the FSB in Somerset and Wiltshire launched a national campaign ‘Championing the UKs Real-Life Entrepreneurs’ with a sell-out roadshow at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Somerset. The museum created an awesome and inspirational backdrop for the occasion.
An audience of 100 established and budding entrepreneurs joined in with an entertaining and highly motivating presentation from serial entrepreneur and best-selling business author and mentor, Mike Southon “The Beermat Entrepreneur”.
Mike used his mentoring experiences and material from his best-selling books to give tips on how to increase routes to finance and improve cash-flow, how to reduce and simplify business tax and adopt a new approach to regulation. He also suggested ways to open up export markets and incentivise job creation – and do all this and still enjoy life!
The FSB recognises and supports local businesses who, through the spirit of entrepreneurship, have set-up and grown a business, or want to get started. As part of the campaign, the FSB aims to encourage Government to bring in policies to remove burdens small firms’ face setting up and growing their business, and various activities to profile and support entrepreneurs will be organised throughout the area.
Six local Real-Life Entrepreneurs showcased their businesses and their entrepreneur experiences. We invited each of them to share a top tip for anyone thinking of starting a business.
Jayne Lunnon from Mendip Moments said “Believe in your idea and in yourself to deliver it.”
Nicky Saunter from Woolly Shepherd said Go for it!

Liz Oram and Allison Herbert from www.love-local.com said “Be patient – things always takes longer than you think!”
Helen Lacey from Red Berry Recruitment said “Do your research, make a plan, be true to yourself, stay positive, network, check out your competition, never be afraid to ask and never give up!”
Clare Aparicio from Evans the Butcher, Langport, with Dan Jones, her apprentice who has just won South West Apprentice of the Year said “Be prepared to be working 24/7 -  you are never off.”
Gerry Chandler from Elephant’s Child said “You can if you think you can!”
Mary Mallia, FSB Development Manager, said:
“We have enjoyed an excellent presentation from Mike to kick-start our campaign, which will spotlight the many opportunities for existing and future entrepreneurs. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this such a success.
“I am particularly delighted that two of our campaign partner organisations have been able to celebrate the strong spirit of entrepreneurship in Somerset and Wiltshire with us – PRIME and Young Enterprise. Both are working hard to help our entrepreneurs develop their own ideas into thriving businesses for the future.
“The FSB represents Real-Life Entrepreneurs across every sector of the economy and every section of society. While the culture of celebrity entrepreneurs will have spurred people into starting a business, more needs to be done to make it easier for people to do this, and we are doing it!”
