Charity Golf Day, South Wilts Golf Club

We will be supporting a charity golf day at South Wilts Golf Club, Netherhampton, Salisbury on 30th June 2011. The event is being organised by Ade Sainsbury of Value Cars in support of Lucy's Days Out a local charity.

About Lucy's Day Out

Lucy was just six when she developed “Rhabdomyosarcoma” a solid inoperable tumor in her head.  She had harsh chemotherapy and radiotherapy which seemed to work as Lucy was well for four years but sadly she relapsed in March 2009 and we have lost the battle this time.
During the last six years Lucy has had wonderful holidays and days out through different charities making a ‘horrible life’ fun! When Lucy knew she was dying she asked if we would do special things to remember her on her birthday.  This is where she came up with the idea of the charity; she even designed her own logo for Lucy’s Days Out.
Lucy’s Wish
Lucy wants us to provide children living with cancer fun days out like the ones she enjoyed. As parents, lives change when you have to care for their sick child, so we would also like to give an amount of money to help with traveling costs for their day out.
To give a child a reason to smile is such a rewarding thing, also as a family its a heart warming experience to have a fun day amongst many dark days of hospital visits.
Keith Hartland, Jerry Holt and Peter Tanner teamed up with Julie Page to set up the "Lucy's Days Out" Charity in August 2010. The Charity will provide days out, expenses and support for families living with cancer, predominantly we will be looking to help families in the Wiltshire, Hampshire & Dorset areas.
Lucy died on the 23rd September 2010 after years of suffering, unfortunately years of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment did not work for Lucy. In Lucy's last few months her dying wish was to help others by forming a local charity. The trustees are supported by a very willing committee and local businesses to make Lucy's dying wish a reality.
There are still places available but they are going very fast so if you would like to have a round of golf and support a great charity call Ade on 07736624786 as soon as you can to avoid missing what will be a great day.

Millie and James Pre-Wedding Shoot at Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Salisbury

Millie and James live in Salisbury but are getting married in Somerset at the beautiful Port Eliot House and Gardens. Just over a week ago we met at the Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury on a bright but breezy day to do their pre-wedding shoot.
We had a great time and managed to get the shoot completed just before the heavens opened. Here is a short video slideshow of the images captured.
