The sun is out and it is now time to get the bike on the road. Some of you will recognise the item in this image and a lot will not; it is in fact the new oil filter ready to be installed tomorrow night. Focus centered on the inside of the filter and hit with a bit of flash, this image has had very little post processing except for the obvious b/w conversion.
Well, as your subject may not be that interesting to many, I can see your further instinct based on a personal interest that derives the result of your works. Good image quality in there. Understanding ones photography I think deals mainly with the appreciation of the quality rather than of the subject portrayed on the image.
