A little more twitching done today with a little Blue Tit caught unaware. I am so enjoying getting back to photographing birds, it is so much fun and completely stress less.
The technical on this one; 5D with a 70-200mm lens and 1.4X convertor, ISO 800, 1/320 sec at f4.5. LR for basic corrections and a bit of contrast, PS for two High Pass layers, one to add contrast and sharpening and the other to soften the image a little; both layers were reduced in opacity by about 50% and the softening was removed from the bird with a mask. A little burning of the background and the frame and signature was added.
