I had a call from Ruby's mum yesterday (Tuesday) asking if would be able to take some portraits of Ruby for a competition they wanted to enter. It was a bit of a rush as they wanted to send the pictures off this week. I agreed I would fit them in today (Wednesday) and email the chosen photo to them before the weekend. Ruby is a lovely young lady who didn't seem to be too worried about posing for the camera. We started in the garden with a few candids to relax her then I set up my portable studio to add a more formal touch to the images.

Natasha and Steve
On Saturday Natasha and Steve were married in my local Church in Winterslow. If you remember the pre-wedding shoot you will remember that this couple are so in love. The weather was not on our side but that did not dampen the spirit and enjoyment of the day. Steve made a wonderfully emotional speech highlighting just how much love he has for Natasha.

Kate and Iain
Kate and Iain were married in the beautiful Newhouse in Redlynch near Salisbury. The weather forecast for the day was not very good but we were lucky enough to be blessed with beautiful baking sunshine all afternoon. It was a lovely intimate wedding with only a few guests but a great atmosphere and lovely people made it a special occasion. Thank you Kate and Iain for choosing me to capture your special day. Here is a video of some of my favourites from the day.

Catch up time
I have been a bit busy over the past few weeks and have therefore not been quite as good at updating my blog as I should have been.
It is the busiest time now for most photographers and for John Rose Photography that has certainly been the case. We have covered football tournaments, motocross races, a masked ball, school proms, black tie dinners, and several school sports days.
I have therefore included below a few favourites from some of the events for your perusal. Please leave a comment, and I will hopefully now be posting a little more often.
