No surprise what the theme is today; roses of course. This image was taken from the dozen roses I gave to my lovely wife today. I made a fuss of her today as all husbands, boyfriends and girlfriends should to their partners on Valentine's Day.
A very easy shot to create; 5D with a 100mm lens and set to manual, ISO 100, 1/125 sec at f5.6. Lit using a 580 EX II flash camera left, set to ETTL, and exposed at 2 stops under.
